Little did Kenrick Morgan know that when he decided to reinvent Carr Gate, New Savannah, New Market, Saint Elizabeth, Jamaica West Indies by relocating his Old Hits Party – a vintage affair – from South Coast Rest Stop And Cafe, Old New Market Square to this Cultural Historical site, that Sherel “Tiny” Hanson, 49 year old self-made business woman had also caught the vision to reinvent Carr Gate.  Sherel “Tiny” is the daughter of Dorothy Bennett-Hanson of Jack’s Gate and Reuben Hanson of Glenbournie.  She attended New Roads All Age School.

In the pursuance of being an active Entrepreneur and risk taker in reinventing Carr Gate, Sherel has renovated, refurbished, and diversified product offerings in her state of the art bar featuring Jamaican Liqueurs, alcoholic, and other beverages to include a newly constructed Grill Centre that has made it a modern stand alone one stop Jamaican Cuisine Centre instead of the “Mom and Pop Bar” that she owned at this location.

To complement the ambience of two spotlessly clean stainless steel exhaust hoods that rise towards the roof from the two grills, is Euwyn Brown, 29, Chef, Beersheba Primary School (Government Leased) Alumnus, who received his training in Negril, Westmoreland, Jamaica, West Indies. Adorned in his Chef’s Uniform – white head wear, white long sleeve outer coat and grey checkered pants, the uniform worn by Chefs world wide, the finger licking, mouthwatering menu served by the Chef include jerk chicken, jerk pork, grilled Irish potato, roasted breadfruit, and sweet potato served with homemade jerk sauce and vegetables.

The indigenous Jamaican menu is served Monday – Saturday between the hours of 11:00 a.m to 11:00 p.m. Those who would like to congratulate Sherel for her vision and innovation or would like to place an order before they arrive may contact her at: 876-378-6756.
