Pot Holes and Craters  at Gate-less Main Entrance leading to Beersheba Primary School, St. Elizabeth,  Jamaica.

The existing unsatisfactory condition of the gate-less main entrance and deep craters in the roadway leading to Beersheba Primary School (Government Leased) compound, was discussed at length at the general meeting of Beersheba Old Students Association (BOSA) that was held in the main auditorium at Beersheba Primary School (Government Leased) on June 19, 2013.

 In contrast to “cas cas”, “verandah/shop  talk”, and several misconceptions held by “village lawyers” and other unscrupulous persons whose agenda is to propagate mischief, perusal of instructions left by James “Dick” Richards (1872-1965) with respect to funds that are to be disbursed from his estate, clearly stipulate that money  that was to be placed in a Trust Fund for Beersheba Primary School was to provide scholarship for two of the best academic performing students.

An Honour Roll on which is recorded the names of students who have excelled in Grade Six Achievement Test (GSAT) and other exams and have graduated from Beersheba Primary School (Government Leased), New Market, Saint Elizabeth, Jamaica, West Indies, is mounted on a wall in front of the School’s Library adjacent to the office of the Principal of the School.

A conspicuous entry in 2009 GSAT Honour Roll is the  sole name of Joel Wilson whom Mrs. Tatlin E. Smith-Williams, Principal, Beersheba Primary School (Government Leased) introduced along with Shanisa Jones to Beersheba Old Students Association (BOSA) in 2009 as the two best academic performing students in GSAT Exam.
