As BOSA Newsletter, Volume 11 October 2012 reported Nik Wallenda saying after he successfully walked across Niagara Falls on a tightrope and made it into the Guinness Book of World Records, his next stunt would be to walk on a tightrope across the Grand Canyon.

On Sunday, June 23, 2013 at 8:00 PM in the presence of 600 persons, 34 year old Nik Wallenda clutching a 43 lbs balancing pole in his hands, completed his tightrope walk that took him a quarter mile distance over the Little Colorado River George in North Eastern Arizona, USA. The event was broadcast live on Discovery Channel.
Nik Wallenda successfully performed the stunt walking on a 2 inch thick steel cable, 1,500 feet above Little Colorado River on the Navajo Nation near the Grand Canyon. It took Wallenda just 22 minutes to do the walk, pausing and crouching on the tightrope twice as winds blew fiercely around him and made the tightrope swayed. Although wind speed around Wallenda was 30 mph and dust accumulated on his contact lenses, these obstacles did not impede his daring performance.

Thirteen minutes into his walk on the tightrope, Wallenda who has time and time again publicly expressed faith and belief in God, was heard saying: Thank you Lord, Thank you for calming that cable, God.”
Wallenda did not wear a harness during his entire walk on the tightrope and he stopped slowly and steadily throughout his walk praying to the Lord Jesus Christ constantly along the way. Nik jogged and hopped the last few steps of his journey on the tightrope, kissed the ground, embraced and kissed his wife who was waiting for him when he completed his daring walk.

What Is The Next Frontier Nik Wallenda Will Set Out To Conquer?
As an Achiever and Trailblazer, Nik Wallenda has informed the world that he intends to walk on a tightrope from the Empire State Building on Fifth Avenue to the Chrysler Building on Lexington Avenue, in the Borough of Manhattan, New York City, USA.

Can Nik Wallenda Accomplish The New Goal that He Has Set For Himself?

In Genesis 1:28, we read where God – Jehovah Elohim – said to mankind whom He made in His own image: “Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” The word subdue in the Hebrew Language, which means to explore, to conquer, is God’s Divine Magna Carta for all true scientific and material progress including Nik Wallenda’s walk on a tightrope across the Grand Canyon. God created man with a mind that was perfect in its finite capacity for learning, but he did not begin to know all the secrets of the universe. God commands him to subdue, that is, to acquire knowledge and mastery over his material environment so as to bring its elements into service for the entire human race.

What Does Nik Wallenda’s Walk On A Tightrope 15,000 Feet Above The Grand Canyon Have To Do With Service For The Entire Human Race?
Nik Wallenda’s walk on a tightrope 1,500 feet above Little Colorado River near the Grand Canyon is not only a medical test for human endurance, but it also brings into focus, the laws of physics and chemistry that are essential and invaluable in strategic planning in many spheres.
