It is with mixed feeling of joy and sad regret that Beersheba Old Students Association (BOSA) announces the homegoing of Ivan “Willie” “Mike” Gayle age 68 years, Beersheba Primary School Alumnus and peasant farmer of “Camp Hill”, Flint Valley District, New Market, Saint Elizabeth.
Joy, because “Mike” who has been blind and visually impaired for six years, has been relieved from his suffering and discomfort of not being able to see members of his biological family, relatives, friends and members of his Beersheba Moravian Church family with whom he interacted regularly.
Sad regret, because “Mike” who passed away in Black River Public General Hospital on the morning of November 27, 2017, is missed by all for his jovial personality, contagious smile and excellent interpersonal...
