BOSA Announces The Home Going Of Three Beersheba Primary School Alumni.

It is with much sad regret that Beersheba Old Students Association (BOSA) brings to the attention of all Beersheba Primary School Alumni in Jamaica and the Diaspora, the following Alumni who have gone home since the publication of Volume 15 of its Newsletter:

Tatlin Walker, age 82 years, housewife from Flint Valley, New Market, Saint Elizabeth.
Ethel Wallace, age 93, housewife – James Gabbidon’s mother – from Happy Hall, New Market, Saint Elizabeth.
Errol “Peaches” Piper, age 61 years, farmer from Happy Hall, New Market, Saint Elizabeth who went home suddenly while digging yam in his farm at the family home at Happy Hall on September 28, 2013.

Thanksgiving Service for Dorcas Gertrude Alexandria Green, 105 years – Black River oldest centenarian – foundation member and longest serving elder of Holiness Christian Church, was held at the Church which is located  on Central Road, Black River, Saint Elizabeth, Jamaica West Indies on Friday, September 20, 2013.

Ernest Collins – who was among seven persons who were baptized to start the church in 1955 – in his tribute, spoke of the late Doris Green’s commitment and loyalty to the church. Several other tributes lauded the deceased for her philanthropy and caring concern for those who were unable to fend for themselves.

Beersheba Old Students Association (BOSA) has written to the Chairman of the School Board Beersheba Primary School (Government Leased) seeking answers regarding alleged unauthorized disbursements that have been made from James Richards Educational Trust Fund.

Beersheba Old Students Association (BOSA) is alleging that disbursements which were not authorized by the Managing Committee for James Richards Educational Trust Fund, were made in consultation between the Chairman of the School Board and the Principal Beersheba Primary School (Government Leased) prior to the meeting of the Managing Committee that was held on August 28, 2013.
