Why Is The Name Shanisa Jones Omitted From The Honor Roll At Beersheba Primary School (Government Leased)? – Vincent Samuels

SHANISA_JONES

An Honour Roll on which is recorded the names of students who have excelled in Grade Six Achievement Test (GSAT) and other exams and have graduated from Beersheba Primary School (Government Leased), New Market, Saint Elizabeth, Jamaica, West Indies, is mounted on a wall in front of the School’s Library adjacent to the office of the Principal of the School.

A conspicuous entry in 2009 GSAT Honour Roll is the  sole name of Joel Wilson whom Mrs. Tatlin E. Smith-Williams, Principal, Beersheba Primary School (Government Leased) introduced along with Shanisa Jones to Beersheba Old Students Association (BOSA) in 2009 as the two best academic performing students in GSAT Exam.

What is the reason that the name of Shanisa Jones who has maintained a consistent academic average of 83.5 is omitted from the Honour Roll?

From all appearances, it is reasonable for one to infer and deduce that Shanisa Jones has not only been victimized and discriminated against as a qualified beneficiary of James Richards Educational Trust Fund but she is also victimized and discriminated against in her alma mater’s Honour Roll.
