Sameika Mailtand Financially Challenged Grade A Student At Hampton Boarding School Earns Silver Award Certificate

Against the backdrop of a large gold and blue colored tent under which Hampton Students adorned in white dresses sat in rows as they waited for the Annual Founders Day And Award Ceremony that was held at Hampton School on Sunday, November 15, 2015 and chaired by the President of Munro – Hampton Alumni Association in Washington D C, USA and an Alumna of Hampton School to commence; trees dressed in green bonnets that lined the landscape; clapped their hands as students led by Music Director Allison Francis, played rhythmically on the school’s Steel Band.

It is indeed with much sad regret that Beersheba Old Students association (BOSA) announces the passing of Calvin Primore Holness “Fine Comb”, Beersheba Primary School Alumnus of Happy Hall, “Holness Corner’, New Market, Saint Elizabeth, Jamaica West Indies.

Calvin age 70 years, passed away at his home at Happy Hall on October 14, 2015 after he was discharged from Black River Public General Hospital where he was a patient for a considerable period of time.

Calvin who is predeceased by his parents Rufus and Rebertha Holness, siblings Reuben, Lucille and Joyce “Coolie Gal”, leaves behind siblings Roy (former General Manager of Sherwin Williams Paints Jamaica limited now Owner and Manager of Handy Hardware Store), Vincent, son Peter and several nephews, nieces, and friends to mourn hi...
