BOSA Announces Home Going of Anthony Glenmore “Gary” Atkinson – Vincent Samuels, ASC, BBA.

It is indeed with much sadness and deep regret that Beersheba Old Students Association (BOSA) announce the home going of Anthony Glenmore “Gary” Atkinson, age 57 years, Beersheba Primary School and Munro College Alumnus, Saint Elizabeth, Jamaica West Indies at Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), South Carolina, USA on Friday, February 2, 2024 at 2:30PM.

Anthony who lived at his home in South Carolina, was admitted at the Medical University of South Carolina where he passed away peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior Whom he loved, worshipped and adored. He was surrounded by his seven surviving children and family at the time of his passing.

BOSA Announces The Home Going of Nonagenarian Usella Kathleen Smith of Long Ground Dist, New Market – Vincent Samuels

It is with a sense of awe and consternation that Ms. Usella Kathleen Smith, Nonagenarian native of Long Ground, New Market, Saint Elizabeth, Jamaica West Indies, Beersheba Elementary School Alumna; peacefully made her transition at home on August 8, 2023, few days short of her ninety-fifth birthday anniversary on September 9, 2023.

A sense of awe, because over the years and up to when Miss Usella (known as Ms. Kathleen) reached threescore and ten years; she was revered and loved by everyone in Long Ground Community for her simple and humble lifestyle that emanated from contagious smiles that came from her aging face.

BOSA Announces the home going of Mrs. Yvonne Comrie from Happy Grove, New Market, Saint Elizabeth, Jamaica West Indies

It is indeed with much sad regret that Beersheba Old Students Association (BOSA) announces the home going of Mrs. Yvonne Comrie in the USA in December 2022 where she has been receiving medical attention during her prolonged illness.

Mrs. Comrie, employee of Statistical Institute of Jamaica (STATIN), will long be remembered as Chairperson Extraordinaire at Concerts, Rallys, School Graduation Commencement Exercises, and other Civic Functions that have been held at various venues in Happy Grove, New Market, Giddy Hall and other adjoining communities over the years.
