Amidst the sounds of Genesis Steel Band playing under a white roof gazebo tent on North Street, a float parade led by a marching band on High Street, and Fyffes Pen John Cunno Band playing in the mini park in front of a sea of multi-coloured Gazebo Tents under which Vendors peddled jerk chicken, jerk perk, indigenous Jamaican cuisine, and showcased merchandize from their businesses, The Town of Black River that was officially twinned with The City of Hamilton, Bermuda on June 12, 2013, was transformed into a gorgeous mosaic with people of all nationality adorned in apparels made from the national colours of black, green, and gold.
