God’s Loyal And Faithful Witness On The Football Field By Vincent Samuels

Tebow

On page 13 of 15 of Volume 11, October 2012, writing under the above captioned headline, BOSA Newsletter introduced its readers to 24 year old New York Jets Quarterback and Heisman Trophy Winner Tim Tebow.
When the news article appeared in BOSA Newsletter, Tim Tebow was wearing his No. 15 Jersey in the New York Jets as one of the most dynamic players in the National Football League (NFL) and a follower and disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ who is known for sharing his Christian Faith openly and unhesitatingly.

It would appear as if the New York Jets couldn’t have hated Tim Tebow more. They dumped him on the first Monday after the NFL Draft knowing that the roster on other Major Football League will be filled and the chance of Tebow finding another job will be very bleak.

SUDDEN TURN OF EVENTS AND A SLAP IN TIM TEBOW’S FACE
Sports Writers and Football Fans in the USA and elsewhere, are perplexed at the decision taken by Rex Ryan, Head Coach for the New York Jets to dump Tim Tebow and send him walking from the locker room bull pen with his duffel bag with gears slung over his shoulder at a time when it will be extremely difficult for him to sign up with other Major League Football Teams.

TIM TEBOW’S DISMISSAL FROM THE NEW YORK JETS IS MIND-BOGGLING
Mind-boggling is the most appropriate adjective that can be used to describe Tim Tebow’s dismissal from the New York Jets. Since the evidence does not support Tim Tebow being a liability to the New York Jets, there are those in Christendom who perceive and deduce that Tebow’s dismissal is tantamount to persecution because of his unyielding Christian Faith.

I am sorry that the Jets let Tim go in that manner, but Tim will get another job, whether as a football player or some other teaching job. You see when one stand publicly for Christ in this world there is all ways some people who will try to make things hard for you. But what we have to remember is that Tim is a child of the Most High God, Yes trials will come, but Tim is not defeated. God is in control of this situation. Tim will be okay, watch and see. Just watch God work it out for this young man.

Remember God words are true, “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful, but his delight is in the law of the Lord and in his law doth he mediate day and night:. Psalm 1:1-2. When one door closed, others will open for Tim Tebow. sh
