It is indeed with much sad and profound regret that Beersheba Old Students Association (BOSA) announces the home going of Alton Emmanuel Pryce (1937-2018), age 80 years from Donegal, New Market, Saint Elizabeth, Jamaica West Indies, New York and Port Saint Lucie, Florida, USA.

Alton who has been in and out of hospital after a prolonged illness, surrounded by his dear wife Merlene, other family members and close friends; went home peacefully to be with his Lord and Maker on Sunday, January 21, 2018 after he suffered a massive heart attack while he was a patient at Tradition Medical Center, Port Saint Lucie, Florida, USA.

Alton leaves behind his dear devoted wife Merlene, daughter Monique Faith Ofori, granddaughter Damira Augustin sisters Ivet, Sylvia, Beverley, and Barbara; brothers Silbert, Elleston and several other relatives, friends, members of his local church family and Beersheba Elementary and Primary School Alumni in Jamaica and the Diaspora to grieve and mourn his loss.

Beersheba Old Students Association (BOSA) has lost a friend whose philanthropy towards poverty stricken students for whom the Association is a safety net and monitor is indeed a significant part of Alton’s legacy.

Viewing/Visitation will be on Saturday, February 03, 2018 between the hours of 9:00 A.M – 10:00 A.M at First United Methodist Church, 260 SW Prima Vista Boulevard, Port Saint Lucie, Florida 34983, USA.

Funeral Services will be held at the church on Saturday, February 03, 2018 between the hours of 10:00 A.M -11 A.M..

Interment will be done on Saturday, February 03, 2018 at 12:30 P.M at Rolling Oaks Cemetery, 2200 SW Del Rio Boulevard, Port Saint Lucie, Florida  34986, USA.
