It is indeed with much sad regret that Beersheba Old Students association (BOSA) announces the passing of Calvin Primore Holness “Fine Comb”, Beersheba Primary School Alumnus of Happy Hall, “Holness Corner’, New Market, Saint Elizabeth, Jamaica West Indies.
Calvin age 70 years, passed away at his home at Happy Hall on October 14, 2015 after he was discharged from Black River Public General Hospital where he was a patient for a considerable period of time.
Calvin who is predeceased by his parents Rufus and Rebertha Holness, siblings Reuben, Lucille and Joyce “Coolie Gal”, leaves behind siblings Roy (former General Manager of Sherwin Williams Paints Jamaica limited now Owner and Manager of Handy Hardware Store), Vincent, son Peter and several nephews, nieces, and friends to mourn his loss.
Thanksgiving Service for the life of Calvin was held at new Market Methodist Church, New market, Saint Elizabeth on November 6, 2015 followed by internment that was done in the family plot at Happy Hall.
