BOSA Announces the Home Going Of Rita Vida “Fenke” Salmon – Vincent Samuels

Ms. Rita Salmon 2It is with much sad regret that Beersheba Old Students Association (BOSA) announces the home going of Rita Veda “Fenke” Salmon, age 83 years, Beersheba Primary School Alumna from Long Ground, Saint Elizabeth, Jamaica west Indies on April 23, 2015.

Rita who passed away peacefully at her home, is predeceased by her mother Sue Gayle, famous District Nanny (Midwife) and her father “Hardy” Salmon, close friend and school mate of James “Dick” Richards (1872-1965) – see reference in book FROM BEERSHEBA TO BERMUDA written by the writer of this news article about the relationship between James “Dick” Richards and “Hardy” Salmon – leaves behind daughters Josephine, Alsome, Jennifer, Coretta, and fay; sons Calvin, Anthony, Everton and Fitzroy; twenty-five grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and several other relatives and friends to grieve and mourn her loss.

Thanksgiving Service for the life of the deceased will be held at The Salvation Army Carr Corp, Carr District, New Market, Saint Elizabeth. Envoy Genis Smith, Commanding Officer and other Officers of The Salvation Army will participate in the service that will be held at the church on Sunday, May 24, 2015 commencing at 1:00PM.

Internment will take place in the family plot at Long Ground, New market, Saint Elizabeth.

Beersheba Old Students Association (BOSA) wishes to express sincere condolence to all bereaved family members, relatives and friends of the deceased as they grieve and mourn the loss of their love one.
