It is with much sad regret that Beersheba Old Students Association (BOSA) announces the home going of Austin “Pat Boone” Smith, age 73 years of Flint Valley, New Market, Saint Elizabeth, Jamaica West Indies on March 12, 2014 after a long illness.
Austin “Pat Boone” Smith, an Alumnus of Beersheba Elementary Moravian Church School is fondly remembered for his melodious crooning voice whenever he sang at Tea Meetings, Singing Meetings, and Wakes that were held in Flint Valley and adjacent communities.
Austin “Pat Boone” Smith whose parents David Smith, Butcher, and his wife Eva, Housewife, predeceased him many years ago, leaves behind brother Victor Smith, Butcher, Vice President Beersheba Old Students Association (BOSA), Gloria Smith-Meredith, J.P., BSC, and several other family members to mourn his loss.
Funeral Service was held at New Market Seventh Day Adventist Church, New Market, Saint Elizabeth on March 30, 2014. Interment was done in the family plot at Flint Valley, New Market, Saint Elizabeth.”
